Life is simple, when App is simple. But as you step on the complex UI, customization comes to the rescue. In this talk, focus will be on pushing the Android UI framework onto the next scale allowing users to improve exisitng widgets, compound controls and craft the completely new views.

Even though Android Framework provides number of pre-build layout features for building UI's, when it comes to targeted optimization or building unique "wow" UI, makes one migrate to custom UI designing. This talk will focus on the following key points :
1. Android Design Stucture,
2. Structural Pattern design
3. Using Switch pattens
3. View Abstractions and Traversals
The talk will also aim to cover process of measurements and layouts while building UI's. Some elements will also include basic insights about uiautomator API.
