Objective

Mobile advertising is forever evolving. It has moved from annoying banner ads to commerce ads based on the user’s tastes. This talk will outline some emerging trends we are likely to see in mobile advertising as we head into 2016.

Description

This talk will give a brief overview of the world of mobile advertising and how it is changing to meet advertiser, publisher and user demands. The talk will cover the challenges of the mobile advertising ecosystem and where it is headed in 2016. You will also get insights into how mobile advertising differs per region and market.

Speaker: Vasuta Agarwal
VP Business Development, Asia Pacific and Global Partner Management at InMobi

Vasuta leads the business development team for Asia Pacific markets (covering India, South East Asia, Japan, Korea and Australia) where her main focus is acquisition of new publisher partnerships for Inmobi’s mobile ad monetization and discovery commerce platform. She also plays the dual role of managing the global partner management team responsible for revenue growth, account management and operations of key publishers globally. She started her career at Intel as a chip design engineer and then did a stint in strategy consulting at McKinsey for 3 years post her MBA.
Vasuta has a B.E in Electronics from BITS Pilani and an MBA from IIM Bangalore. In her free time she loves reading and is also into theatre.
